Silver Basa is known for its delicate, pearly-white flesh and a remarkably subtle flavor that makes it a favorite for those who prefer fish without a strong "fishy" aroma.

Best For: Continental Fish & Chips, Pan-seared Lemon Butter Fish, Crispy Fish Fingers, or spicy Fish Tikka. Its neutral taste makes it perfect for absorbing bold Indian marinades.

Chef’s Tip: Basa cooks very quickly! To prevent it from breaking, pat the fillet dry with a paper towel before cooking. If pan-frying, cook for just 3–4 minutes per side until the meat turns opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
